UN Global Road Safety Week – May 13 to 19, 2025
As part of the 8th UN Global Road Safety Week, BNWF proudly joined hands with the UP Traffic Police to raise awareness and promote safer commuting habits among the public. The initiative began with an engaging road safety awareness session at our Noida office, where employees participated in meaningful discussions around responsible driving, pedestrian safety, and accident prevention. Staff members also
took a symbolic pledge to adopt safer commuting practices—recognizing that change begins at an individual level.
Taking the message beyond the office, BNWF conducted impactful on-ground outreach activities at Panchsheel locality and the bustling Atta Market in Noida. These areas, known for heavy footfall and vehicular congestion, were chosen to maximize visibility and engagement. Our volunteers interacted with commuters, transport workers, and vendors—distributing helmets, sharing road safety tips, and applying reflective tapes on autos, e-rickshaws, and bicycles to improve night-time visibility and reduce accident risks.
The initiative was a thoughtful blend of education and action, aimed at turning awareness into life-saving habits. It highlighted the importance of community responsibility in road safety and encouraged behavioral shifts that protect not just the individual, but everyone on the road. Through this effort, BNWF reaffirmed its commitment to building safer streets and more informed citizens—because road safety is not just a regulation, it’s a shared duty.
