World Environment Day

To commemorate World Environment Day, BN Welfare Foundation organized a vibrant and interactive event at its Noida office, bringing together employees and students of Neelanjay Pathshala in a collective celebration of environmental awareness. The event was thoughtfully designed to engage participants of all ages in meaningful conversations and creative expression centered around this year’s global theme — #EndPlasticPollution.

The day began with engaging discussions on the harmful effects of plastic pollution, followed by artwork and poster-making sessions, where children and staff expressed their hopes for a cleaner, greener planet through vivid drawings, messages, and illustrations. These artistic expressions served not only as a creative outlet but also as a reflection of their understanding of  environmental challenges and their role in addressing them.

To move from awareness to action, the participants then joined in a sapling plantation drive within the office premises. With their hands in the soil and hearts full of purpose, children planted young trees—each one representing a step toward a more sustainable future. These saplings stood as living symbols of our shared responsibility to protect and restore the Earth, while also instilling a deeper sense of environmental ownership in the young minds.

The event reaffirmed BNWF’s unwavering commitment to fostering eco-conscious values among its community and creating spaces where people are empowered to make a real difference. Through education, participation, and action, World Environment Day at BNWF became a day of hope, learning, and planting seeds — both in the ground and in the minds of future generations.
