Workforce Nutrition Initiative

BN Welfare Foundation was honored to host esteemed representatives from the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and ANK Foundation at our BN Corporate Park for a meaningful and forward-looking discussion on Workforce Nutrition. The visit included insights and expert guidance from leading voices in the field, including Ms. Barbel Weiligmann, Ms. Aishwarya Choubey, Ms. Saman ZamanMs. Jyoti Jyotsana, and nutritionist Dr. Rita Mishra — whose collective experience brought depth and clarity to the conversation.

This collaboration marks a crucial step toward strengthening nutrition awareness and health practices across both formal and informal workforces. Together, we are focusing on training Anganwadi workers, implementing effective workplace nutrition strategies, and promoting healthier habits among staff and community beneficiaries alike. By embedding nutritional knowledge into everyday settings — whether in offices, Anganwadi centres, or community programs — we aim to build a more informed, resilient, and healthier society.

The initiative, which is already being actively implemented across BNWF’s corporate offices and field sites, is designed to create a ripple effect—one that starts with the workforce but extends to families, communities, and future generations. It reflects our belief that good nutrition is not a privilege, but a right, and that sustainable change comes from empowering people with the knowledge and tools to make healthier choices every day. Through this ongoing partnership, BNWF reaffirms its commitment to advancing community wellness, food security, and human development at the grassroots level.
